About the Role We are seeking qualified Carpenters to join our clients on a temporary based in Hawkes Bay. This role offers competitive pay, variety across different sites, and the chance to work with a safety-focused team delivering quality results.

Duties
- Interpreting and working from construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Constructing, installing, and repairing structural frameworks, walls, floors, and roofing systems
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber, steel, and other building materials with precision
- Installing doors, windows, cabinetry, skirting, architraves, and interior fit-out components
- Formwork and falsework construction for concrete pours on commercial sites
- Framing and erecting timber or steel structures for new builds and renovations
- Completing exterior cladding, decking, fencing, and other finishing carpentry tasks
- Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and remedial work on existing buildings
- Ensuring all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Collaborating with site managers, subcontractors, and other trades to meet project timelines
- Operating hand and power tools safely and maintaining equipment in good condition
- Following site health and safety procedures, including hazard identification and risk management
Skills and Experience
- Proven carpentry experience (commercial or residential)
- Valid Site Safe (or willing to obtain)
- Valid working rights in NZ
- Full NZ driver's license and reliable transport
