The RoleOur client is looking for a reliable and hands-on General Labourer to join their civil construction team in Taihape. You'll work closely with the Foreman to support local infrastructure projects, taking on a mix of general labouring, spotting, and on-site assistance. This is a practical role where every day is varied and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with site setups, pack-downs, and day-to-day civil operations
- Support the Foreman with machinery and equipment tasks
- Carry out physical labour to help keep projects on track
- Operate WTR machinery where qualified
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
- Flexibility for occasional project-based adjustments
What We're Looking For
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Confident in general civil construction tasks
- WTR endorsement and Class 2+ licences are beneficial but not required
- Experience with heavy machinery (diggers, rollers) is a bonus
