Description
We are seeking a carpenter who is proficient in formwork and steel installation.
We are a small construction company based in the Waikato with the majority of work based in Hamilton and Morrinsville but may travel to other areas of the Waikato such as Cambridge or Raglan.
The key tasks and responsibilities: *accurately read plans and drawings
- Set out, build and install formwork for foundations
- measure, cut & shape steel bars and install into foundations
- Ability to use measuring tools such as laser levels
- work closely with concrete crews and have the ability to help if required to screed concrete
- have a good awareness of health and safety requirements and adhere to health & safety regulations
Pay will be based on experience, paid fortnightly in your preferred bank account. $25-$35/hr + 8% holiday pay
Minimum guaranteed hours are 40 hours per week.
Minimum work experience required is someone who has at least 1 year experience building foundations.
Must be New Zealand citizen or resident class visa workers.
Must have full licence.
Must be able to pass a drug test before employment and random drug testing.
