General Labourers (16-Month Project – Tokanui Area)
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join our team for a project starting mid-February in the Tokanui area. The project is expected to run for approximately 16 months. If you’re looking to gain experience and contribute to a major project, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- General site duties including site preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assisting with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials and equipment.
- Helping to set up and dismantle temporary structures or scaffolding.
- Assisting skilled workers and following instructions to ensure smooth project operations.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Key Skills & Qualities:
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of work.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous general labouring experience is beneficial but not required.
- Must be available to start mid-February
- Must have reliable transport and a full Class 1 Driver’s License.
- Able to pass a drug test and provide two work references.
- Clear MOJ (Ministry of Justice) record required.
