You will benefit from hands-on training, equipping you with the essential skills and knowledge needed for the daily installation and maintenance of traffic signs throughout the Wellington region. To be considered for this role there are some basic requirements you must:
- be reliable and keen to learn and work, with a positive can-do attitude;
- have a clean, full or restricted Class 1 drivers’ licence and capable of driving a manual vehicle;
- like physical work including digging, lifting and general manual handling;
- have no issues working at height, on ladders or elevated work platforms;
- be able to read plans with a logical approach to and sequencing of your work;
- be able to work predominately on your own and occasionally within a team;
- keep accurate work records and be comfortable using a computer as much of our record keeping is computer based;
- proactively look after your own health and safety and input to the team’s safety;
- have pride in your work and manage your own quality of work. In return we will provide you with:

- a decent wage with job security Other qualifications and training that would be of benefit but not essential are:
- Traffic management (TMO, TTMW, STMS etc);
- Understand Thinkproject AWM (RAMM);
- Site Safe and Construct Safe;
- First aid training.
