Job Title: Class 2 Driver/Labourer Location: Lower Hutt Job Type: Ongoing
Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist with general labour duties, including loading and unloading materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class 2 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles and performing labour tasks.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness to handle labour intensive tasks.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction or civil industry.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic laws in Lower Hutt.
