We are currently looking for reliable Civil Drainage Labourers to support our team on drainage and infrastructure projects across the Wellington region. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in civil construction while working with an experienced and supportive crew delivering essential water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.

About the Role You’ll be working alongside our experienced crew assisting with drainage installation, site preparation, and general labouring duties. This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit, safety-focused, and ready to get stuck in on active civil construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with trenching and pipe laying
• Moving materials and tools around site
• Spotting for machine operators
• Compacting, backfilling, and general site clean-up
• Following instructions from the Foreman and operators
• Maintaining safe work practices on busy civil sites

What We’re Looking For

• Previous drainage or civil labouring experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Full Class 1 driver licence
• Class 2 licence (preferred)
• Confined Spaces, First Aid, or ConstructSafe (advantageous)
• TMO or STMS tickets (advantageous)
