Experienced GPS Final Trim Excavator Operators

The Company:

We are currently working with a client who requires an Experienced GPS Final Trim Excavator Operator to work in Orewa, temp to perm opportunities available for the right people.

The Gig:

Operating excavators on a large long-term civil and earthmoving project, mostly final trim and finishing excavator work, however you may be required to operate other machinery such as graders, moxy's and tractors.

Pay rate is $32p/h to $40p/h depending on skills and experience.

Typical work days are 07:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday however longer hours and Saturday work may be required during the dryer months, make hay while the sun shines!

The Goods: To be successful in this role you will:

• Have proven experience in final trim earthworks
• Have proven experience using GPS machine control systems, specifically Leica
• Have the ability to operate multiple types of plant including excavators, moxy dump trucks, graders and tractors
• Have strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Have the right licenses for the plant you're operating
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Have own reliable transport to and from work
