All-round Civil Operator We’re looking for experienced All-round Civil Operators to join a busy civil team working on ongoing projects across Tauranga. This is a great opportunity for operators who are confident across multiple machines and enjoy varied civil work in a strong team environment.
Details Location: Tauranga Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly)
About the role You’ll be working across a range of civil construction projects, operating multiple types of plant and supporting earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure crews on site.
Key duties
- Operating a range of civil plant including diggers, rollers, dump trucks, and moxy trucks
- Bulk and detailed earthworks on civil construction sites
- Trenching for drainage, services, and utilities
- Loading and carting materials around site
- Assisting with site preparation, backfilling, and reinstatement works
- Supporting drainage, roading, and infrastructure crews
- Carrying out daily plant checks and basic maintenance
- Working safely around other plant, crews, and live services
- Following site plans, levels, and supervisor instructions
- General civil labouring when not operating machinery
What we’re looking for
- Experience operating multiple types of civil plant
- WTR endorsement
- Civil construction experience
- Class 4 licence
- Strong health and safety awareness
