Experienced GPS Machine Operator

As New Zealand's leading experts in erosion control and bio-engineering, our projects take us to some of the most interesting places in the country so you will need to be happy working away from home from time to time.

Our office is located in Opiki Manawatu, however over the next couple of years we will be mainly working in the Wellington to Levin regions.

We are looking for someone who's not just a great operator but also a solid team player who isn't afraid to jump out of the cab and lend a hand.

To be successful in this full-time position you will need:

• A Full Class 4 Licence
• 3+ years experience operating machinery in Civil Construction
• Proven skill in finishing work with GPS excavators
• Current Wheels, Tracks & Rollers endorsement
• Willingness to get hands-on and help with all aspects of the job
• Physical fitness for occasional heavy lifting
• A knack for keeping machinery in top condition
• A motivated, can-do attitude
• Good communication, time management and initiative

In this role, you will help construct retaining walls, install erosion control measure, operate GPS excavators for fine-detail earthworks, and tackle a variety of other rewarding projects.
