Civil Roller Operator

We're working alongside a well established civil contractor delivering roading and civil construction projects across the Northland region. With a sollid pipeline of work secured and more projects coming online, they're looking for an experienced Civil Roller Operator to join the team.

This role suits someone who understands compaction, works well as part of a crew, and takes pride in delivering a quality finish. You'll be operating rollers on active civil sites where safety, communication, and doing the job properly are expected as standard.

What you'll be doing

• Operating rollers on civil and roading construction sites
• Compaction of basecourse, subgrade, and asphalt as required
• Working closely with digger operators, graders, and labourers
• Following site plans, levels, and supervisor direction
• Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
• Maintaining safe operation around people, plant, and traffic
• Contributing to tidy, well organised work sites

Required experience and tickets These are required and are a barrier to entry:

• Proven experience operating rollers in civil construction
• Current WTR endorsement
• ConstructSafe or Site Safe
• Full Class 1 Drivers License

Highly regarded:

• Experience on roading or asphalt projects
• Additional machine endorsements
• Class 2 Drivers License
