Machine Operator / Class 5 Driver – Southland

Terrascope Solutions is a small, hands-on earthmoving and contracting business operating across Southland. We work across a wide range of projects including civil works, agricultural development, rural contracting, and vegetation management.

The Role We’re on the lookout for an experienced Machine Operator with a Class 5 licence to join our team. This is a varied role that includes: Operating excavators and machinery across civil and rural projects

Truck driving (Class 5) as required

Assisting with site setup and general contracting work

Vegetation and land management tasks

Working efficiently as part of a small, tight-knit crew

What We’re Looking For

Full Class 5 driver licence (essential)

Proven experience operating excavators and/or heavy machinery

Ability to read and understand plans (preferred but not essential)

Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised

Good awareness of health & safety practices

Willingness to travel and stay away when required

Positive attitude and team-first mindset
