Class 2 Driver / Labourer – Civil Infrastructure Yard based in Upper Hutt | Work across the Greater Wellington Region Start ASAP Tradestaff Wellington is seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver / Labourer to join a well-established Civil Infrastructure client based in Upper Hutt. This is a hands-on role with work across the Greater Wellington region, so you’ll need to be prepared to get stuck in both behind the wheel and on the tools. This is not just a driving role – you’ll be part of a crew delivering quality civil works and supporting a range of projects. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving Class 2 vehicles to and from job sites
- Assisting with civil labouring duties (digging, trenching, site prep, traffic management support, etc.)
- Loading/unloading materials and equipment
- Supporting the crew to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
- Full NZ Class 2 Licence (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Civil experience is an advantage but not essential
