About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Residential House Builder with a strong background in foundation systems and concrete work to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional self driven candidate who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and understands the importance of precision in structural work.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction of residential foundations (slabs, footings, piers, formwork)
Concrete preparation, pouring, finishing, and curing
Reading and interpreting building plans and engineering drawings
Ensuring all work meets New Zealand building codes and safety standards
Coordinating with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades
Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient worksite
Requirements:
Trade qualification in Building / Carpentry or equivalent
Proven experience in residential foundation and concrete work
Strong knowledge of footing systems, slabs on ground, and reinforcement
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
NZ Building qualification
Driver’s licence and reliable transport
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
