Carpenter - Tiny Homes | Takanini
We're looking for an experienced and detail-focused Carpenter to join a specialised tiny homes manufacturing team based in Takanini. This role is ideal for someone with strong tool experience who takes pride in precision work and wants consistent, long-term employment in a workshop environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting in the construction of high-quality transportable homes
- Working alongside the finishing team, including bathroom installation
- Accurately building tiny homes from detailed plans and measurements
- Operating a large skill saw with a specialised blade for precise timber cutting
- Using a wide range of power tools safely and efficiently
- Carrying out assembly, installation, and heavy lifting tasks
What We're Looking For:
- Proven carpentry or construction experience
- Strong competency using power tools (especially skill saws)
- Ability to read and follow detailed plans with accuracy
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
- Reliable, consistent, and safety-focused
