Experienced Carpenter opportunity at Total Interior Solutions Ltd.
Are you an experienced Carpenter with a passion for building and repairing and looking for challenges? We are looking for three super talented Carpenter workers to join our dynamic team.
This position is permanent, full-time (minimum 45 hours maximum 50 hours per week work) within the Auckland Region.
Remuneration is: between $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Total Interior Solutions is specialised in construction/building services, gib fixing all types of partition walls, suspended ceiling and gib lining. We are a small business in Auckland and committed to deliver quality solutions quickly and cost-effectively.
About the Role
You will be a key part of our team working across all stages of construction and building projects. You will be working in close collaboration with our team leader, actively contributing ideas and finding the best solutions to each problem.
Required Skills and Experience
● Must have relevant construction/building work experience (at least 3 years or more). ● Competent in performing carpentry service requests from fit-outs, installation, testing, replacement and repair of ceilings. ● Creating decorative textures in finishing coats. ● Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers. ● Experience in gib fixing and gib lining. ● Competent in installation of gib boards and plastering. ● Must have a good understanding of partition walls and suspended ceilings. ● Measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels,and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens. ● Be able to preparing corner beads and securing them in position. ● Be able to applying and finishing acoustic, insulation and fireproofing materials bonded. ● Be able to install plastic and metal doors and windows. ● Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to work both unsupervised as well as in a team. ● Must have good time management and organisation skills. ● Committed to delivering quality results and minimising risks. ● A desire to learn new skills and technologies and share knowledge with the rest of the team ● No registration as a Carpenter is requested but a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is needed. ● A secondary school qualification is desirable but not a must.
