Description
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Specification Representative to take ownership of getting our systems specified into projects early. This is a critical role that sits between design, sales and delivery ensuring our products are locked into projects before they go to tender.
You will be working directly with architects, engineers, consultants and main contractors to position our solutions as the preferred standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, engineers and consultants
- Get Seismic Guys systems written into project specifications
- Identify upcoming projects and engage early in the design phase
- Work closely with our QS and operations teams to align on opportunities
- Track projects from concept through to award
- Assist with presentations, CPDs and product demonstrations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in construction, technical sales or specification roles
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project flow
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence decision-makers
- Commercially aware; understands margin, value, and positioning
- Self-managed, proactive, and results-driven
- Ability to travel as required
Preferred (but not essential)
- Background in facades, seismic systems, structural components or similar
- Existing relationships within the Auckland construction/design market
- Experience using CRM systems and tracking pipelines
