Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out carpentry work in accordance with construction drawings and project specifications;
- Competently and safely operate hand and power tools;
- Perform all work in compliance with the New Zealand Building Code and relevant standards;
- Ensure workmanship meets required quality, safety, and compliance standards;
- Follow site safety procedures and standard operating practices;
- Work collaboratively with project managers and site teams to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with the ability to work independently;
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand building regulations, standards, and site practices;
- Proficiency in the safe and proper use of carpentry and construction tools;
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a high standard of workmanship;
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with health and safety requirements;
- Must hold valid New Zealand work rights (citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa).
