To be successful in the role you will need:-

• To be a qualified carpenter, full understanding of the NZ Building Code
• Minimum of 5 years Site Manager experience in NZ commercial construction
• Co-ordinate and manage site staff and sub-contractors to ensure on time project completion; proven record of project, programming and quality assurance (QA) delivery
• Have vast experience and knowledge in commercial construction – strong leadership and communication skills
• High level of attention to detail, excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities - to be motivated, reliable and enthusiastic - inspire the site team; bringing a collaborative and positive attitude & team culture - a hands-on site manager
• Comply with Armitage Williams Construction Health & Safety and Drug & Alcohol Policies
• Drive a “safety first” culture where people clearly demonstrate safe behaviours and think safety before acting, reporting incidents and assist in Health & Safety investigations as required Position Description is available on request.
