Description
We're currently looking for an experienced Dogman/Rigger to join our team in Kapiti. This role suits someone who takes pride in working safely, communicates well with crane operators, and isn't afraid of hands-on site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing crane operations and slinging loads safely
- Rigging and lifting in accordance with site plans and safety requirements
- Assisting with general site tasks when required
- Maintaining clear communication with operators and site supervisors
- Ensuring all lifting gear is inspected and used correctly
What We're Looking For:
- Current Dogman/Rigger ticket (unit standard 3789 - essential)
- At least 3+ years of construction industry experience
- Strong understanding of safe lifting practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
