The Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Installer who takes genuine pride in their workmanship, presentation, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision-based work, problem-solving, and being part of a professional, customer-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of bespoke security hardware into aluminium, timber, and steel framing
- Working with high-security and master keying systems
- Ensuring all work meets CSI Wellington quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional worksite
- Representing CSI Wellington in a professional manner on customer sites
- Working both independently and as part of a wider installation team
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in hardware installation or a related trade
- Confident working with aluminium, timber, and steel materials
- Knowledge of high-security locking systems (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt on site
Candidate Requirements:
- High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
- Full, clean New Zealand driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team culture
