- Wellington region role, paying $32-$36 per hour with ongoing work
About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Builder to join our team, working across insurance strip-out projects and general maintenance work throughout the Wellington region. This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the tools but also has the capability to support the Site Supervisor with setting up and coordinating teams on-site. You will play an important part in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard across a variety of insurance repair and maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out hands-on building and insurance strip-out work
- Support site set-up and coordination of onsite teams
- Assist the Site Supervisor with day-to-day site operations
- Deliver maintenance and repair works as required
- Help lead, guide, and support team members on-site
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams
About You
- Proven experience in building, insurance strip-out, or maintenance work
- Strong practical building skills and site experience
- Leadership capability or experience supporting small teams
- Able to take direction while also showing initiative
- Reliable, motivated, and solution-focused
- Strong understanding of site health and safety
- Full driver's licence preferred
