Carpenters Wanted - Commercial & Residential Projects We are seeking skilled Commercial and Residential Carpenters to join our team across a variety of long-term projects. This role suits experienced tradespeople who can work independently and take pride in high-quality workmanship. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strip-out and demolition works, including gib removal
- Install wall, ceiling, and floor framing (timber and light steel)
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Install cladding systems (internal and external)
- Carry out fix-out work including doors, trims, and finishing details
- Set-out work accurately using levels and measuring tools
- Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work alongside other trades to meet project timelines
- Ensure work complies with NZ building standards and site safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial and/or residential carpentry
- Ability to work unsupervised and problem-solve on site
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
