Drainlayer

L Hooper Contracting Ltd is a small drainage / earthmoving company based in Greymouth. We provide a range of services from drainage, septic installation and maintence, earthmoving and small civil construction projects.

Due to a growing workload, we're looking for an experienced drainlayer/operator to join our team.

An ideal candidate would be a certified drainlayer with a range of drainage experience across both civil and residential markets. However, we could potentially fill the position with an operator looking to get on the tools and start a drainage apprenticeship.

To be a successful applicant, it is essential that you:

• Have worked in the drainage/civil industry.
• Hold a full class 2 licence, preferably class 4.
• WTR along with resonable experience operating machinery.
• Motivated and strive to complete work to high standard, especially when unsupervised.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug test.

For the right candidate, we are offering a competitive hourly rate between $35 - $45/hr depending on experience and quality of workmanship.
