About the Role The Projects Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring Watertight Roofings projects run smoothly and meet the highest standards. From creating programs and methodologies to liaising with clients and supporting our leading hands, this person will be at the heart of delivering exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing both new and existing projects
• Oversee and support multiple projects, from commencement to completion.
• Develop and manage construction programs and methodologies.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, Watertight Roofing staff and suppliers
• Embed a Health & Safety best Practice Culture in your team and proactively manage safety on all sites
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager to ensure seamless project execution
• Management and motivation of the on-site team
• Management of sub-contractors
• Maintain project documentation
• Material measures and order as required
• Monitoring project costs, as required

Watertight Roofing is looking for someone with

• Experience in the New Zealand roofing industry.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including an in depth knowledge of roofing materials & procedures
• Excellent commercial acumen - the ability to plan, monitor and help control costs on projects
• Outstanding time management skills and the understanding of meeting project deadlines – programming and scheduling multiple projects simultaneously
• The ability to work with & build strong ongoing relationships with the Watertight Management team, employees, subcontractors , main contractors on-site, clients and suppliers – influence, build rapport and credibility
• Demonstrated experience leading and inspiring a team
• Disciplined and self-motivated with a positive approach to work and able to work as part of a small team – a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
• High emotional intelligence, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with long-serving team members.
