Description

Excellent opportunity for a Junior to step into contracting and grow their career with a major organisation! Why You’d Like It

If you’ve cut your teeth in project coordination and have successfully stepped into the driver’s seat of your own projects, this is the perfect spot to sharpen your skills. You’ll be managing a diverse portfolio of infrastructure initiatives in a high‑performing environment where your structure and momentum directly impact the office's success. The Story

Our client's Tech Office is humming, and with a significant pipeline of work ahead, they need an extra pair of hands to keep the wheels turning. This is an initial contract through to 31 July 2026 to align with the end of the financial year, but for the right person, we fully expect this to roll into the new financial year. It’s a fast‑paced immediate start for someone ready to hit the ground running. Company Profile

Our client is a tech‑driven organisation that values clear communication and delivery excellence. This team handles the backbone of the business, ensuring everyone stays connected and our systems are fit for purpose. They work hard, but do it in a supportive environment where your growth as a PM is genuinely encouraged. Your Role

You will take ownership of multiple smaller, infrastructure‑focused projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and without surprises. You’ll be the glue between internal technical teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects, such as connectivity setups and office tech upgrades.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure technical requirements are met and milestones are hit.
  • Keep stakeholders in the loop with clear reporting and proactive updates on project momentum.
  • Maintain project documentation and schedules, ensuring a methodical approach to every task.
  • Identify potential risks or bottlenecks early and work collaboratively to solve them. Benefits
  • Competitive Rate: A competitive daily rate on the table.
  • Flexible Working: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home.
  • Immediate start: A chance to jump into a new role without delays.
  • Central Auckland Location: Easy access to the best the city has to offer.
  • High‑Performing Culture: Work alongside some of the best in the business. Your Fit

You aren't just a coordinator; you’ve already managed projects and understand how to navigate the lifecycle of a tech delivery. You’re someone who loves a tidy plan but has the problem‑solving chops to handle it when things deviate from the script.

  • Proven PM Experience: You’ve successfully led small projects from start to finish. We're not looking for a Senior, but someone who is keen to learn and grow their career.
  • Tech Savvy: You have a solid grasp of infrastructure, connectivity, and hardware deployments.
  • Organisational Ninja: You can juggle five things at once without dropping the ball.
  • Great Communicator: You can translate technical jargon into plain English for stakeholders.
  • Methodical Mindset: You value structure and follow-through in everything you do.
  • ASAP Start: Must be available to start immediately, or a maximum notice period of 2 weeks.

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. If you are not a NZ Citizen, you must have the right of permanent residence or a valid work visa.
