About Us

We’re not just a construction company — we’re a people business.

Based in the Bay of Plenty, we partner closely with private clients and public sector organisations to deliver high-quality construction projects. Our success comes from strong relationships: with clients, contractors, and our wider network. We pride ourselves on being approachable, reliable, and easy to work with.

With a growing pipeline of projects, we’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people just as much as delivering great builds. We work with a trusted group of contractors, and this role plays a central part in nurturing those partnerships and creating positive project experiences for everyone involved.

Why This Role is Exciting

As our Project Manager, you won’t just manage timelines and budgets — you’ll be the main point of connection between clients, contractors, and our internal team.

You’ll take ownership of projects from early design right through to handover, working closely with our Sales team and build partners. You’ll be front-facing with clients, solving problems, keeping everyone informed, and making sure each project runs smoothly. If you enjoy being on site, talking with people, building trust, and seeing your work come to life, this role offers real variety and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Own projects end-to-end, from concept through to completion
  • Be the key communicator between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with contractors and help grow our trusted network
  • Coordinate trades and schedules to keep projects running smoothly
  • Proactively manage scope, variations, risk, and cost
  • Keep clients informed with clear, honest communication throughout the build
  • Identify issues early and work collaboratively to find solution
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and quality standards
  • Track progress, budgets, and reporting in a clear, organised way

Who You Are

You’re a natural people person who happens to be a great Project Manager.

You enjoy being out on site, talking with contractors, meeting clients, and keeping everyone aligned. You’re commercially aware, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure. You take pride in building strong working relationships and know that great outcomes come from clear communication and teamwork.

You bring 5+ years’ experience in New Zealand construction or project management and are ready to step into a role where you can truly own your projects and make a difference.

What You’ll Bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Proven experience delivering construction projects on time and within budget
  • Strong programming, scheduling, and risk management capability
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with people
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts and processes
  • A proactive, organised, and personable approach

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary starting at $100,000+, tailored for the right candidate
  • Profit share arrangement based on successful project delivery
  • Work vehicle, phone, and laptop
  • Exposure to a large, diverse project pipeline across the region
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team environment where your input matters

If you’re looking for a role where your skills are valued, your ideas make a difference, and your career can truly take off, this is it.
