The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of diverse construction projects. This is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of construction projects (residential, commercial, and mixed-use)
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Manage project workflows using internal software (CAT)
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Lead and manage site teams, developing individual members and creating high performing teams
• Track and manage project budgets, claims, and cost forecasts
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Champion health and safety compliance, including the use of HARM (internal H&S software)
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across project delivery

About You:

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry (At least 5 years in construction, including 2+ as a Project Manager across residential, commercial, or both)
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Sound understanding of NZ building codes, health & safety, and council processes
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with project management and MS Office software
