Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager

ConsultANZis currently seeking an experiencedSenior Project Engineer or Project Managerwith proven expertise indeep drainage,three waters, orfoundation worksfor an upcoming complex civil infrastructure project. This role involves managing a technically challenging section of works that includes a deep coffer dam and pipe installation under a live road. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering high-risk, high-complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction of a 5m deep coffer dam
• Manage dewatering operations
• Supervise pipe ramming of 750mm steel pipes under live roads
• Oversee GRP pipe installation and grouting
• Coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Track site progress and provide regular reporting to the Project Manager
• Handle procurement, scheduling, and on-site logistics
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support as needed Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects
• Prior experience with deep drainage, three waters infrastructure, or foundation construction
• Exposure to Tier 1 or large civil contractors preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and deliver under tight deadlines Benefits For Full-Time Permanent Role:
• Salary up to $140,000 – $160,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
• Company vehicle provided
• Living-away allowance (as required, negotiable) For Contract Role:
• Day rate: $750 – $900 per day (negotiable based on experience)
• Vehicle and IT equipment provided
