Project Manager

We’re Hightop Roofing — a growing Christchurch-based roofing and cladding company focused on becoming both the client’s choice and the employer of choice in our industry.

About the Role

This is an end-to-end Project Management role working across a mix of residential and commercial projects, taking them from acceptance through to completion.

You’ll be picking up jobs once they’re won — we have an Estimator who handles pricing and quoting.

Your focus is on delivery, coordination, and results.

You’ll be working closely with:

• Site Supervisors and crews
• Clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Our internal team

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Owning Your Projects

• Manage projects from start to finish
• Plan ahead and keep jobs running smoothly
• Make decisions and solve problems as they arise
• Deliver projects on time and to a high standard

Planning & Coordination

• Organise labour, materials, and subcontractors
• Ensure everything is ready before jobs start
• Keep crews productive and jobs moving

Client Communication

• Be the main point of contact for your projects
• Keep communication clear, proactive, and professional

Performance & Results

• Manage jobs to meet budget and margin targets
• Identify risks early and stay ahead of issues
• Take responsibility for outcomes

We’re looking for someone with solid project management experience who can step into the role and take ownership from day one, with the support, systems, and structure in place to set you up for success.

You’ll be someone who:

Experience required:

• Project management experience in roofing or construction
• Confident managing multiple projects at once
• Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems
