The Opportunity | Te Kōwhiringa
Our Dannevirke Transport & Infrastructure team are looking for an experienced Renewals Manager, who will be working within the Tararua Alliance, a partnership between Tararua District Council and Downer. As the Renewals Manager you will proactively support the Tararua Alliance and the extended leadership team to deliver operational excellence across all of Tararua's Road Renewal needs.
This role will oversee the processes associated with the provision of all physical works including safety, traffic management, quality, environmental, financial, resource management in the delivery of Road Renewals activities to ensure the contract meets the required levels of services, in the most collaborative manager through the management of resources for the Tararua area.

Ultimately, you'll ensure that your team deliver to contract requirements, whilst optimising resources to achieve targets. You'll be confident in liaising with crews and clients at all levels, a master at reporting and planning in all avenues, as well as:
- Proven management experience with responsibility and accountability for staff, plant and equipment, supply chain management and return on investment
- BE (Civil), NZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or other relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering would be desirable
- Project and/or contract management experience with civil engineering projects.
- Knowledge of best practice within the infrastructure industry.
- Clear demonstration of collaborative behaviours and ability to build and maintain positive relationships through trust and integrity.
