ABOUT THE ROLE:We are seeking an experienced Senior PROJECT MANAGER to lead multiple building projects in the Waikato. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage key projects from inception to completion while developing your leadership skills on the path to senior management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage multiple commercial and residential building projects simultaneously
- Oversee project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and budgeting
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, consultants, and site teams
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, comply with safety regulations, and are delivered on time
- Support, mentor, and develop site teams, nurturing future leaders
- Collaborate with leadership to refine systems and improve project delivery processes

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 5+ years proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial, residential, and civil construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery processes
- Confident leadership and excellent communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, able to manage multiple projects efficiently
- A proactive, future-focused mindset with ambition to progress into a Construction Manager role
- Relevant qualifications in Construction or Project Management are ideal but not essential
