EQUIP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects across the Wellington region. This role suits a practical, solutions-focused leader who can confidently manage programmes, people and performance without unnecessary complexity.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing civil projects from planning through to completion
- Overseeing programme, cost control, and risk management
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Liaising with clients, councils and consultants
- Ensuring health & safety, quality and commercial targets are met
- Driving projects forward while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering civil construction projects in NZ
- Strong understanding of NZ civil standards and construction methodology
- Confident communicator with a practical leadership style
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing deadlines
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
