Regional Manager - Lower North Island

Our business is looking for a qualified and experienced Regional Manager to undertake the following duties.

Purpose of the role

As Regional Manager – Lower North Island, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of Cake’s regional operations. Working closely with the Cake Board and senior leadership, you will drive strategic growth, strengthen customer relationships, and lead high-performing teams that consistently deliver outstanding results.

This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and people leadership in a business that values quality, safety, and long-term relationships. You will be empowered to influence outcomes, develop talent, and grow Cake’s presence across the Commercial and Industrial sectors in the Lower North Island.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and grow the overall performance of the Lower North Island region against clearly defined KPIs and strategic objectives
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to a strong and sustainable project pipeline
• Build on and enhance our trusted, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring they understand and benefit from the full range of Cake Group services
• Create a high-engagement culture that reflects Cake’s core behavioural values and supports people to perform at their best
• Mentor, coach, and support site supervisors and operational leaders to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to agreed performance targets
• Support and lead the Commercial team during pricing and tender phases, maintaining strong client communication throughout
• Provide regular, clear reporting to the Board on regional performance, tenders, and key projects
