PROJECT MANAGER – CIVIL WORKS Upcoming Mid-2026 Projects – Papua New Guinea Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) Roster: 28 days on / 10 days off Papua New Guinea (PNG) is a nation of incredible diversity, famous for having the world's most languages (over 800) and unique wildlife, sharing the island of New Guinea with Indonesia. We are seeking an experienced civil Project Manager to lead and oversee teams on major upcoming civil construction projects in Papua New Guinea starting mid-2026.

Do you have:

Experience: 10 years or more of civil works construction with demonstrated experience in bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, bridges, subdivisions, water supply and sewer civil construction projects

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • General Contract administration in line with FIDIC and PNG DOW Standard Contracts;
  • Construction programming and planning to ensure project targets are met within budget;
  • Preparation of monthly interim progress claims complete with supporting documentation;
  • Cost control, preparation of project specific cost codes, expenditure forecasts and budgets including progressive monitoring and updating.
  • Supervising, managing and motivating a team of Site Engineers, Construction Supervisors and Surveyors to achieve project objectives safely, on time, within budget and to the highest level of quality;
  • Handle material take-offs, scheduling and procurement. Subcontract, Service or Supply agreement preparation clearly identifying scope and deliverables, contract administration, works supervision and certification of payments due.
  • Liaising with clients, consulting engineers and other project stakeholders to ensure the company is well represented and that project deliverables are clearly documented and communicated to relevant field personnel;
  • Managing design changes, scope definition, estimating and pricing project variations;
  • Ensuring compliance with Company Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and OHS objectives. Preparing project specific Quality and Environmental Management Plans and implementing; and
  • Troubleshooting and providing engineering input in other matters as required
