Civil Supervisor & Superintendent PNG FIFO

SUPERVISOR – CIVIL WORKS Upcoming Mid-2026 Projects – Papua New Guinea Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) Roster: 28 days on / 10 days off Papua New Guinea (PNG) is a nation of incredible diversity, famous for having the world's most languages (over 800) and unique wildlife, sharing the island of New Guinea with Indonesia. Its capital is Port Moresby, and official languages include English, Tok Pisin, and Hiri Motu, We are seeking an experienced Civil Works Supervisor to lead and oversee teams on major upcoming civil construction projects in Papua New Guinea starting mid-2026. In this hands-on supervisory role, you will provide daily leadership, coordination, instruction, and oversight to teams of Technicians and Trades Workers. You will deliver practical on-the-job training and guidance, while occasionally performing technical/trades tasks in support of supervision and instruction. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervise and direct the construction team, including subcontractors, to ensure high-quality work.
• Train and educate site workers on construction safety regulations, accident protocols, and best practices.
• Strictly enforce site safety rules to minimise accidents and injuries.
• Respond to and manage any site incidents in line with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and performance.
• Assess team performance, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary measures when required.
• Review and interpret blueprints to confirm projects align with design, safety, and budget requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and recommend changes to operations or procedures. Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role in civil construction or related fields.
• Proven track record as a site supervisor on construction projects.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Practical working knowledge of construction tools, plant, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to train and develop subordinates for future roles/succession.
• Comfortable working in remote environments.
• Valid driver’s licence. What We Offer:
