About Us Join a high-performing civil team with steady work, strong culture, and real development opportunities. Due to an increase in workload, we’re looking for 2–3 Civil Drainlayers / Site Managers to join our growing team. These are hands-on roles where you’ll be on the tools while also leading and supporting the crew onsite.
About the Role
- Hands-on civil drainlaying work on a range of projects
- Lead and support the onsite crew to deliver work safely and to plan
- Set out and install drainage systems, including pipes, manholes, grades and levels
- Ensure all gear, people, safety and onsite operations run smoothly
- Coordinate materials, subcontractors, inspections and daily tasks
- Keep accurate daily records of time, materials and progress
- Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
What We’re Looking For You might be:
- A qualified Civil Drainlayer with team-leading or site management experience, looking for new challenges and progression; or
- An experienced drainlayer or someone with Level 3 qualifications wanting to step up into a Site Manager role and gain formal trade qualifications.
You will also bring:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read plans and work accurately to levels
- A commitment to safety, teamwork and quality work
- Full NZ driver licence (WTR and Class 2 an advantage)
