The Opportunity
We’re appointing a Civil Project Manager ahead of a new project commencing February 2026. This is a chance to come in early, helping shape a project involving earthworks, landfill construction, culvert construction with an estimated value of $20m for a central government client
This opportunity has clear scope, confirmed timelines, and proper resourcing.
This is an ongoing full time permanent role that will continue beyond this project, this golden opportunity is a steppingstone for an exciting career pathway that has the potential to grow into a larger role and supporting regional growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing end-to-end delivery of a civil construction project
- Programming, budgeting, and cost control
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Managing variations, risks, and changing site conditions
- Leading site teams and maintaining strong communication across the project
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years proven experience managing civil construction projects
- Strong understanding of civil methodologies and sequencing
- Confident with programming, budgets, and reporting
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Clear communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Strong leadership skills and accountability mindset
- Relevant civil or construction qualification (preferred but not essential)
