EQUIP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to take ownership of day-to-day site operations across a range of civil construction projects in the Wellington region. This role suits someone who leads from the front, runs a tidy site and keeps programmes moving safely and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing daily site operations and workflows
- Coordinating labour, plant and subcontractors
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and productivity
- Working closely with Project Managers, engineers and supervisors
- Managing inspections and liaising with councils and stakeholders
- Solving on-site issues to keep projects on track
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in civil construction site management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and subcontractors
- Practical problem-solving and planning ability
- Solid understanding of NZ health & safety requirements
- Reliable, organised and hands-on approach
