About Us We specialise in concrete foundations and precast panels for residential and commercial builds across the Greater Wellington region, including the Wairarapa and Kapiti Coast. We’re known for being reliable, hardworking and customer-focused, with a strong team culture and a genuine commitment to safety and quality.

About the Role This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee day-to-day site operations while working closely with our Operations Manager and wider team. You’ll be responsible for keeping projects running smoothly, mentoring staff, maintaining high standards, and proactively identifying issues before they become problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supervising daily site activities
  • Programming and coordinating work with the Operations Manager
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting site teams
  • Ensuring all work meets consented plans, specifications and quality standards
  • Overseeing Health & Safety compliance, including toolbox talks and site checks
  • Managing labour, materials and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identifying and contributing to process and safety improvements.

About You You’ll bring proven experience in site or project management within construction (precast or concrete experience is a strong advantage), along with the confidence to lead teams and make sound decisions on site.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager / Project Manager (or similar)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical plans
  • Solid knowledge of construction processes and Health & Safety requirements
  • A proactive, organised and detail-focused approach
  • Confidence using site management software and MS Office
  • A strong work ethic and reliability
  • LBP licence
  • Relevant construction management qualification (preferred)
  • Full NZ driver's licence.

What’s in it for You?

  • A supportive, experienced team
  • A varied and engaging role across multiple sites
  • Company vehicle and phone provided
  • Immediate opportunity to make an impact with a respected local company.

Location: Greater Wellington (including Wairarapa & Kapiti Coast) Permanent, full-time
