Role Overview

RB Recruitment is looking for an experienced Survey Technician to support our client's civil construction teams across subdivision and major infrastructure projects. This is a hybrid role that involves operating surveying equipment in the outdoors. If you enjoy a hands-on role getting out in the elements, this role is for you!

What the role entails

• Survey setout for civil & infrastructure projects
• Performing GPS and surveying machine support on site
• Management of surveying data, records and reports
• Assisting Project Managers and Foremen with site layout
• Monitoring quality control of site regulations and procedures
• Supporting projects to stay on program

This role provides key survey and testing support for civil construction teams.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of civil construction experience (Highly Recommended)
• Experience with GPS survey equipment or surveying machine operation
• Knowledge of 12d or AutoCAD preferred
• Ability to read civil construction drawings
• Good communication with site crews and management
• Excellent time management and ability to adapt
• Communication skills and ability to direct site teams

Qualifications

• Qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering are preferred.
• Relevant surveying certifications or training.
• Full driver's licence.
