Site Traffic Management Supervisor – Rodney

T8 Group is Northland’s leading provider of traffic management solutions, supporting civil, roading, and infrastructure projects across the region. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) to join our Te Hana-based team.

As an STMS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of road users and work crews by implementing and managing traffic management plans (TMPs) in compliance with NZGTTM and company standards. You’ll lead traffic management crews, coordinate with clients and contractors, and maintain a strong focus on health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead traffic management crews on-site.
• Implement and monitor approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards.
• Conduct site risk assessments and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Complete required documentation and reporting accurately.
• Support training and development of traffic management staff.

Requirements

• STMS CAT A or CAT AB qualification.
• Full NZ driver’s license (Class 2 preferred).
• Proven experience in traffic management and site supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights when required.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices.
