Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor to lead traffic management operations across our work sites. This role is critical to ensuring the safety of workers, road users, and the public, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate traffic management teams on site.
• Ensure all traffic control measures are implemented according to approved TMPs.
• Conduct site audits and risk assessments to maintain safety and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities.
• Train and mentor TM staff, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Maintain accurate records and incident reports.
• Respond to changing site conditions and adjust traffic setups as needed.

Requirements

• Current STMS (Site Traffic Management Supervisor) qualification
• Proven experience in traffic management supervision
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
• Full NZ Driver's License

Desirable

• First Aid Certificate
• Experience with electronic TMP systems
• Strong understanding of New Zealand guide to temporary traffic management and relevant legislation.
