As a Downer Traffic Management Operative (TMO), you will assist with Temporary Traffic Management under the direction of a STMS. Ultimately you will work to ensure the safety of your crew and the public through clear and accurate direction of traffic. You will also:
- Help with sign and cone placement and pack down
- Assist with stop/go activity
- Driving duties
This TMO role is a full time-permanent position based in Timaru. The role will be rostered however this could involve occasional weekend, night work and days where you will be on call.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you:
- Class 1 full license but Class 2 preferred
- A valid TMO - P warrant
- Flexibility to work occasional weekend and night shift is desirable
- Show commitment to safe work practises
