Personnel Placements
Listing Description
Description
We are on the lookout for motivated individuals who take initiative, don’t mind early starts, are open to the occasional night shift, and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions. This role is casual, with shifts varying week to week. We are looking to line up additional staff for the New Year, so now is the perfect time to apply! A minimum of a NZ Restricted Driver Licence is required.
With Traffic Control, no two days are the same. Your duties may include:
- Laying out cones and helping with site setup
- Filling potholes and assisting with road maintenance
- Operating stop/go signs — electronically or manually
- Supporting field teams to ensure the safe flow of traffic
A moderate level of fitness is essential, as this role involves being on your feet for most of the day. Clear spoken English, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are key. To be considered, you must be a NZ resident or hold a valid work visa. Please note that Ministry of Justice checks will apply, and you’ll need to provide two recent employer references where possible.
If this sounds like you, get in touch ASAP! Send your CV to kelsie@personnelplacements.co.nz or call 027 688 8367 to learn more.
