We are currently seeking reliable, well-presented and customer-focused Ground Handlers to join our airport-based Passenger Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to passengers.
About the Role This is a customer-facing position where you will:
- Deliver high-quality passenger assistance with a strong focus on customer care
- Support passengers requiring wheelchair assistance, including handling their baggage
- Safely manage and manually handle baggage where required
- Work within a secure, fast-paced airport environment
- Remain on your feet for extended periods, as the role involves continuous walking and physical activity
Shift Details
- 6 days per week on a rotating roster
- 4.5-hour shifts per day
- Operating window: 4:30pm - 9:00pm (with potential 30-minute extension)
- Flexibility required Monday - Sunday
- Full-time opportunities available for the right candidates
Flexibility is essential, as operational requirements may vary week to week.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills with strong English proficiency
- Bilingual applicants welcome (Fluent Mandarin/Cantonese highly regarded)
- Proven customer service experience (essential)
- Professional and well-groomed presentation
- Friendly, confident, and approachable manner
- Physically fit and capable of prolonged standing and walking
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to adhere to strict procedures and airport security requirements
- Own reliable transport preferred due to shift times
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Undergo a pre-employment Ministry of justice check
- Provide two contactable work referees
Training & Onboarding
- Training scheduled to commence mid-March
- Successful candidates MUST be available to attend full-day training, Monday to Friday
- Upon successful completion, you will transition into your rotating roster
