Customer Service & Vehicle Rental Assistant

This is a full-time Customer Service & Vehicle Rental Assistant role, based in our Mt Maunganui and Tauranga branches. You will be an integral part of the customer service team at Hireace, assisting customers with all their vehicle rental needs and enquiries.

What you'll be doing

1.Providing exceptional customer service to all Hireace customers, both in-person and over the phone 2. Helping customers with vehicle rentals, including reservations, pickups and drop-offs 3. Ensuring all rental paperwork is completed accurately and on time 4. Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to best assist customers 5. Identifying and resolving any customer concerns or issues in a timely manner 6. Supporting the wider rental operations team as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally in the vehicle rental or automotive industry
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a warm and friendly manner
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
5. Familiarity with vehicle rental processes and procedures
6. Proficient in using computer systems and technology
7. Full NZ Drivers Licence is required
