Senior Barber We are looking for an experienced and reliable barber to join our team in a busy, professional barbershop environment.

This role requires a high level of technical skill, efficiency, and flexibility, as the successful candidate will be involved in both barbering services and day-to-day shop operations. Key Responsibilities ● Perform all types of men’s haircuts, including fades, tapers, classic and modern styles, within a 30-minute service timeframe ● Beard trimming, shaping and detailing ● Perform full wet shaves with a standard service time of up to 1 hour ● Deliver consistent, high-quality results under time pressure ● Provide professional client consultations and style recommendations ● Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation ● Assist with reception duties, including client check-ins and basic front-of-house support ● Support basic marketing activities, such as content creation assistance and shop promotion ● Participate in daily and end-of-day cleaning and organization of the workspace ● Work independently while following shop standards and workflows Requirements ● Minimum 3–5 years of professional barbering or hairdressing experience ● Strong technical ability in: ○ Skin fades and taper fades ○ Scissor work and scissor-over-comb ○ Beard work and wet shaving ● Proven ability to consistently complete services within required timeframes ● Experience working in a busy barbershop environment ● Comfortable working across multiple areas of the business (barbering, reception, cleaning, marketing support) ● Professional attitude, reliability and punctuality ● Ability to work weekends (including Sundays) and public holidays Employment Details ● Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week ● Employment type: Full-time / permanent employment ● Location: Hava&Co – 1 High Street, Auckland CBD ● Pay: From NZD $27+ per hour, depending on experience and skill level
