Experienced Nanny wanted Parnell

Hi, I’m Kirsten Varley, manager for Karitane Nurses and Nannies and we are looking for an experienced Nanny / House manager to support a family in Parnell.

Start: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 4/5pm Location: Parnell

The family are looking for someone warm, calm, and proactive who is confident balancing both childcare and household support responsibilities.

Their 2 year daughter attends daycare 4–5 mornings per week, so the role will include daycare drop-offs and pick-ups, along with helping with household organisation, meal prep, errands, and general home support while she is away.

As the family are new to New Zealand, they would love someone confident taking their daughter to local activities and community groups to help immerse her in Kiwi culture.

Both parents are home during the day, with one parent working remotely full-time. The family are also expecting a newborn in October, so confidence supporting with newborn care is important.

Japanese language skills are not essential but would be a bonus.

A full driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required.

• Right to work in New Zealand (NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa)
• Lots of previous nanny experience with young children
• Fun, proactive approach to nannying
• Current First Aid certificate
• Full, clean New Zealand drivers licence & reliable car
• Excellent verbal communication and good with organising
• The ability to be flexible and think laterally with problem solving abilities
• A clear background and criminal check, you will be Police checked under the vulnerable childrens act
• Excellent command of English
