Professional Housekeeper & Nanny | Havelock North

Great opportunity for a professional Housekeeper & Nanny for 45 hours per week Monday to Friday based in Havelock North.

Excellent renumeration for the right person, full support and resources, great location.

Weekdays only approximately Monday to Friday from 0730 to 1730. No weekends or public holidays.

We are seeking a high level candidate with proven experience to be able to do the job to a high standard.

Our current long term Nanny & Housekeeper is moving away from Hawkes Bay and we are seeking a replacement to start from February 2026.

The children are aged 8 (girl) and 4 (boy)

Duties Overview (Full training and comprehensive support with be provided for all duties.)

• Take over from parents in morning.
• Drop kids to the local school (5 minute drive within Havelock North) 
• Cleaning  - All areas of the house. 
• Ironing & Washing.
• Cooking - Prepare healthy balanced dinner for kids only.
• Shopping and/or click and collect. 
• Collect Kids from school.
• Spend time with kids. Provide appropriate activities. 
• Supervise kids do/start homework.
• Serve dinner for kids only.
• Prepare clothes for kids next day and prepare school bags.
• Maintain and leave house in clean and tidy state.

Holiday Period 

• Drop Kids to holiday programmes as and when required. 
• The schedule of work/duties may vary to accommodate closure of schools and day programmes and activities, but the total hours will remain the same.

General 

• Form and maintain strong working relationships with family. 
• Learn specific aspects of the role i.e., housekeeping requirements with family and ensure standards are - maintained. 
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order.
• Complete and perform other reasonable requirements/instructions from time to time. 
• Coordinate basic tasks at house as per instructions provided. i.e. let gardener/builder/landscaper in etc.
• Ensure your vehicle has a registration and warrant of fitness.

The role is for 45 hours per week (approximately Monday to Friday 0730 to 1730) with a 1 hour lunch break.
